                                  SmallCase

One of the best investment tools available in the market

Hello my dear friends, I hope you all are doing well. Today I will discuss what is SmallCase & how it works. Also, I will discuss how it can make your investment journey easier. As I want to make detailed writing about it that's why I am splitting this into two parts.

So let's start Investing With Ease.

Guys before getting into the content I want to tell you that, I don't recommend you any specific stocks, mutual funds, cryptocurrency, or any other asset classes. You must do your own research and then invest in any asset.

Before jumping into the content, you have to know what is Demat Account and how it works, because without a Demat account you cannot use SmallCase. SmallCase is mainly for Indian investors but you can read this whole article for your knowledge.
To know about the Demat account please visit here ➤ Demat Account

What-is-SmallCase

⦿ What is SmallCase?
SmallCase is nothing but a modern investment product that helps you to build a low-cost, long-term, diversified portfolio.
In layman's terms, it is an application that helps us to invest in Equity(stocks), ETFs(exchange-traded funds), or in Gold, etc.

➤ Characteristics of SmallCase:
1)  It is a basket of stocks or ETFs, which also holds gold in some cases.
2) Invest in an understandable idea, theme, or strategy.
3) Here you can diversify your portfolio by investing up to 50 stocks in a single SmallCase.
4) Great for long-term investments(we will discuss it later), with zero lock-in periods.
5) You have direct ownership. So stocks are credited to your Demat account & dividends are credited to your bank account.

⦿ All about SmalCases:
SmallCase is a fintech company. It was founded in July 2015 by three IIT Kharagpur graduates. It was launched in 2016, till now the total amount transacted is over 12500Cr and SmallCase curated 250+. Its headquarter is in Bangalore.

Many companies like Sequoia, Blume, Amazon, HDFC Bank, Premji Invest, etc invested in this company.
There are also some individuals who invested in this company are:
Hemendra Kothari (DSP Group), Nithin Kamath (Zerodha), Kunal Shah (Cred), Phanindra Sama (Redbus), etc.

⦿ How to invest via SmallCase?
➤ SmallCase is a medium for investing in equity and other assets. You can use SmallCase via its website or you can use its app. If you use its mobile app then you feel more convenient. Because with its app you can buy stocks, ETFs, and SmallCases(We will discuss it in the next post), also you can track your investments in your SmallCase app with just one click.

SmallCase-App

Steps:
1) If you want to use it on your browser you can use it but if you want to use it on your mobile phone then just go to your mobile's app store and search "SmallCase" then start downloading.
2) After installation, open the application and you will land on the sign-up/sign-in page, if you have never opened it before then sign up and it will ask you to add your broker. Now if you don't have a Demat account then, first you have to open a Demat account then you can add it here.
Otherwise, if you just want to explore the app, then you can skip this process and just sign up.
3) Now on the home page you will find some documentation then the plans that offer in SmallCase. These plans are made by some experts, so you can check out that.
After that, there is a discover page where you can find SmallCases, stocks, popular investment options, and your watchlist.
4) Now on the third tab you will find the create page where you can create your own SmallCases, we will talk about it in the next blog so stay tuned.
5) On the last tab you will find your investment and portfolio details. You can also check your total returns. Insights of your portfolio, and activity details it means when you bought your stocks and your SmallCases.

SmallCase-To-Demat-Account

⦿ Where are your investments stores?
As I told that it's a tool for investing in the stock market and it also offers you to invest in gold that also via the stock market. That means if you want to invest in gold via this platform then you have to buy Gold ETFs.

Now when you enter into this app you have to add your Demat account as I told you earlier. So when you buy a SmallCase or any specific stock or ETF then this will be brought with your Demat account and the stocks or ETFs will be seen in your Demat account.
And when you buy SmallCase then you are buying a lot of stocks or ETFs, which means, in just one click and at the same time you are buying multiple assets that will instantly refects in your Demat account.

We will continue this discussion in the next blog where we will see that, is it really a great tool or not?

➤➤That is it for today guys. We will see you in the next blog, and I will try to post as fast as I can. Till then bye-bye & happy investing😃😃.
